Providing the website

The site uses hosting infrastructure from Hostinger. Visits may involve technically necessary connection data, such as IP address, time, requested resource, transferred data volume and browser information. The website is also delivered through Hostinger’s CDN service (hcdn). The hosting provider uses network and security services for delivery. Their actual locations and subprocessors depend on the hosting configuration and the applicable contracts.

This processing supports secure operation and troubleshooting, on the basis of legitimate interests under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Server logs are separate from the local demonstration inputs described below.

Demonstrations and calculation inputs

Order cards, appointments, assignments, costs and other demonstrations change only the state of the currently open page. The application does not transmit these inputs to us or an analytics service and does not automatically store them permanently in your browser. Resetting or reloading restores the starting position.

A test outline can be downloaded locally at your request. Its content is not sent to a server. The website does not request microphone permission or process a voice recording. Example instructions are a labelled demonstration.

Language preference and cookies

The website uses the browser’s language preferences to suggest German or English. A direct link to a language version remains usable. When you explicitly choose a language, a functional cookie named nmt_lang remembers that choice for up to one year. It contains only de or en, is not an advertising or analytics identifier and is not linked to demo actions.

Without statistics consent, the site does not load Google Analytics tags. Advertising pixels and external webfonts are not embedded. The contact form uses a technically necessary PHP session. Its session cookie protects submissions, including against cross-site request forgery, and is not an advertising or analytics identifier.

Optional usage statistics with Google Analytics

If you expressly agree in the statistics notice, we use Google Analytics 4 to evaluate how this website is used and how understandable it is. The provider for users in the European Economic Area is Google Ireland Limited, Ireland. Google LLC and other Google group companies may participate in processing. Usage analysis is based on your consent under Article 6(1)(a) GDPR. Analytics cookies are stored and read with your consent under § 165(3) of the Austrian Telecommunications Act 2021.

The Google tag does not load before you agree or after you decline. No statistics pings without consent are sent to Google either. All website content and demonstrations work without statistics. You can withdraw consent at any time using “Statistics settings” in the footer, with effect for the future. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing before that point.

After consent, Google processes pseudonymous browser identifiers, page views, engagement time, general device and browser information and the events described below. Your IP address is also transmitted when a connection to Google is established. Google states that Google Analytics 4 does not log or store IP addresses. Pseudonymous usage data is not automatically anonymous.

After consent, Analytics also records first visits, session starts and engagement time. We measure a page view, reaching approximately 90 percent of a page, clicks to external web services and selected public file downloads. A contact request successfully handed to the mail system by the server can be counted as an inquiry. That event contains no message or contact details and does not confirm delivery to the recipient’s inbox. Automatic enhanced event measurement is off. Our measurement uses a defined set of event types.

Our statistics integration does not transmit input contents, search terms, demo instructions, calculation values, names, email addresses or telephone numbers. Page addresses exclude query parameters and fragments. Referring websites and outbound clicks are limited to the referring origin or domain. Google Analytics does not load on a contact page containing the input form or validation errors, even if consent was previously given. A successful inquiry appears in a separate success view without the input form.

Google Signals, user-provided data collection, granular location and device data collection, and use for personalised advertising are disabled in this property. Our integration does not grant consent for advertising storage, advertising user data or ad personalisation. It does not assign a separate User-ID or send customer data to Google.

The analytics cookies _ga and _ga_ZMV30QSWR8 have a maximum lifetime of 180 days. Our configuration does not automatically extend that lifetime with each activity. User and event data in this Analytics property are retained for 14 months. Resetting the retention period on new user activity is off. Already aggregated standard reports can remain for longer. Withdrawal stops future collection and removes accessible analytics cookies for this website, but does not automatically erase data already processed by Google.

Processing can take place outside the European Economic Area, including in the USA. Google provides for the EU-US Data Privacy Framework for transfers to appropriately certified US companies. Where required, contractual data protection terms provide additional transfer mechanisms, such as standard contractual clauses. Consent to statistics does not replace the requirements for such transfers. Your choice is stored for up to 180 days in local browser storage under nmt_analytics_consent. The entry contains your choice, its time and the notice version, with no separate user identifier. It is used only to honour your privacy decision. We ask again if this storage is cleared or the period expires. Other devices and browsers have their own choices.

Contact inquiries

The form processes your name, email address, selected inquiry type, message and any company or telephone details you choose to provide. The information is used to handle the inquiry and possible pre-contractual communication, on the basis of Article 6(1)(b) or (f) GDPR, depending on the inquiry. The message is handed to the existing business email account. Hosting and email providers process the technically required data.

Submitting the form does not subscribe you to a newsletter. Form content is not passed to an AI service. Please do not send confidential documents or particularly protected personal data. Inquiries are retained only as long as needed to handle them, fulfil a subsequent commission or meet statutory obligations.

External links

Links to Amazon, the personal website and Die KI Woche connect to those services only when you select them. Their own privacy information then applies. No external content from those services is automatically embedded.
